Council of the Enemy

Counsel of the Enemy

                                      {Psalms 1: 1-6}
Have you ever thought about where you are receiving your counsel or input on situations in your life? Many people talk about their troubles with friends, co-workers or even family members, but as Christians we must be very careful from whom we receive the input on the situation we are facing.
The counsel of the Enemy will give you advice based on things that have happened in their own lives, or what are the popular things going on in the world today. The next thing to watch for or ask yourself is, “Why am I talking to them about this”? Could it be because you need a bias counsel to justify what you are doing or thinking of doing? The best place to find (True) counsel is with Christians.
When I say “Christians”, I mean not only do they talk the talk but also are they walking the walk with the Lord at the forefront. The first place to seek counsel is with the Lord. This could be praying, reading his word, but always consult the Bible on any advice you may receive whether from the people in the world or from Christians. See if the advice you have been given coincides with what the Bible teaches. Pray for the Lord to lead you in the direction you should go. The Lord can and will give Spiritual insight and will open doors and all you have to do is trust in him and walk on through.
May the Lord keep and bless you through the Blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
